A preview of East’s last choral concert of the school year

East’s last choral concert of the academic year is tonight at 7:30 and is sure to end the year on a good note.

Some highlights of the performances include Vocal Workshop’s “Jai Ho,” complete with dancers, “O Sifuni Mungu” by East Singers, which features a percussion section and “Zero to Hero” choreographed by Laura Pawel (‘11). Concert Choir will perform “Doraji,” a Korean folk song, which includes instrumentals. Also, Belles will perform “Here Comes the Sun” in an arrangement by East’s own Melanie Mijares (’10).

Concert Choir will perform “Broadway!” and “Classical Gas,” while Madrigals will sing pieces such as “I Love My Love” and “Short People.” One of Casual Harmony’s performances is Paul McCartney’s “Eleanor Rigby.”

Make sure to come and enjoy the last choral concert of the academic year!
