Investigations try to determine Neil Armstrong’s exact words

When Neil Armstrong’s name is mentioned in any given conversation, most people would most likely relate the name to the infamous statement “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” However, looking back at the incident now, some believe that Neil had actually said “one small step for a man,” therefore referring to himself as opposed to humans in general.

Both Neil and NASA initially insisted that he said the first of the two options, but still studies have been carried out using various pieces of high-tech equipment in the effort to discover whether he had actually voiced that one little noise.

With words so famous and quoted so often, it is important to get the phrasing correct, no matter the situation.
