By just walking in, it’s obvious that dining at Honey’s Sit ‘n Eat will be a unique and delicious experience. Located at 800 North Fourth Street in Northern Liberties in Philadelphia, Honey’s is a cool, low-key, funky restaurant that serves amazing breakfast all day.

Upon entry, the comfy atmosphere is immediately apparent from observing the multitude of community flyers, friendly servers and aroma of fresh cuisine that make diners feel at home.

While the extensive menu includes meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the morning specialties deserve a special mention.

The freshness of the ingredients comes through with every bite and though at first it seems that the serving size is large, inevitably everything on the plate will be gone. The everyday menu includes various highlights; such as the Challah French Toast, Whole Wheat Pancakes, Enfrijoladas and various egg dishes that include potato-cheese latkes, home fries or grits. The Enfrijoladas are particularly mouthwatering. The Mexican inspired tortilla dish includes a savory mix of scrambled eggs, beans and salsa verde that lights any mouth on fire.

Honey’s, also very conscious of different diets, has a menu that caters to vegetarians and vegans with equally delectable entrées such as the Savory Tofu Platter, Homemade Granola and Yogurt, egg white substitutes and sides like fresh fruit and Veggie Sausage.

Despite Honey’s already enormous menu, they also offer daily specials that are too delicious to be passed by; such as the special omelets that use ingredients like jalapeños, and pancakes which are stuffed with different fruits and granolas.

No matter the preference time of breakfast, Honey’s Sit ‘n Eat will be able to satisfy anyone’s hunger with their innumerable options that never cease to amaze.
