LaScala’s Fire opened its doors in 2016 and brought the taste of the Philadelphia tradition to its new home in South Jersey. They serve traditional Italian cuisine and wood fired pizza, while relaxing in their updated modern atmosphere. The restaurant is located in the Promenade off of Route 73 in Marlton, New Jersey. As a result of the excellent service and food, customers come back for more LaScala’s Itallian cuisine.

“I love working here and being a part of the restaurant’s family. The workers here all work together and I couldn’t ask for better co-workers. The atmosphere is welcoming and the customers always walk out with a smile on their face,” said Alicia Dare, a waitress at the restaurant. “We work hard to make our food the best it can be which is why we only use high quality foods. Overall we do whatever we can to please our customers so they come back.”

The most common dish at LaScala’s Fire is the ricotta board. It is ricotta seasoned with honey and served with wood-fired piadina bread.

“Whenever I come here that is always my first order. The bread mixes with the honey really well to make a sweet taste that makes you wanting more,” said Rachel Rivera, a returning LaScala’s customer. “I come here frequently because [LaScala’s Fire] food always satisfies and never disappoints me, especially the ricotta board.”

Another common dish is their wood-fired pizza, in particular the margharita pizza. They have a wooden oven in the back of the restaurant which they use to make all of their pizzas.

Since their pizza always comes out with just the right amount of crunch and thickness to the crust, it is always the right move to order it.  Additionally, the mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce are fresh, and the pizza never comes out with oil on top. It is cooked to perfection and I would highly recommend giving it a try.

Next time you are near Marlton or looking for a restaurant to eat then try out LaScala’s Fire in Marlton. It has a modern and welcoming atmosphere with amazing traditional American and Italian food. They have a variety of different foods on the menu so you are not limited to just a few options. LaScala’s Fire is popular among all and offers nothing but delightful food, so you will not be disappointed.
